What is Standby Rescue?
Potentially high-risk work such as work at heights or confined space work necessitates a well-trained team in attendance to coordinate a rescue in the event of an incident or emergency. Some sites choose to train (and continually re-train) their own workers in these skills however increasingly organisations are finding that it is more effective and more economical to arrange a contract team of rescue specialists to be on site for the duration of the high-risk work.
